A faithful and complete recreation of a swimbait legend!

The TEMPT brand "swing bait" gained a reputation as a hidden gem for fishing in highland clear lakes like Lake Nojiri and Lake Hibara. Originally a secret weapon among local experts, it gradually gained popularity among general anglers, eventually becoming a staple in swimbait fishing.

Keitech has brought this classic swimbait (shad tail worm) back to life, after it was sadly discontinued. The bait’s natural, subtle vibrations—generated by the body tapering from a bold waist to a thin, delicate tail—combined with its small paddle tail, perfectly embody the "Ultimate Lifelike Action." This action, with minimal tail movement and reduced rolling, draws in bass without spooking them, offering a distinct alternative to the Swing Impact or Easy Shiner.

While staying true to the original design, Keitech made two subtle adjustments to enhance usability and improve fishing results, all without compromising the bait's legendary performance. This reissue captures the essence of the original while incorporating modern refinements that only Keitech can deliver.

It's a worm with an "i-shaped" design, offering precision and lifelike action that bass can't resist!

The top is the original, and the bottom is the Keitech "Swing Bait" (second prototype stage). We carefully considered not only the design but also the materials that contribute to the action. 

There is a midline on both the back and belly sides of the main body, from the head to the waist.

You can set the hook straight by using the midline as a guide.

We have infused the material with a squid flavor to enhance its performance while closely replicating the pearl-like color shifts and transparent, natural tones of the original design.

Our focus is on developing unique material compositions that can provide anglers with an edge during challenging conditions or extend bite times to increase the chances of a successful hookup.

The most basic usage is

Surface slow retrieve

Just like other shad tails, it can be used with a variety of rigs, but what makes this worm unique and valuable is the remarkable reaction it produces when used without a sinker to trace the surface.

If it is the season or conditions where fish are aware of the area near the surface, we would recommend you try this method first.

The hook is a #1 offset type wide gap hook (the photo shows a #1 Decoy kg hook). We recommend a heavy standard model, not a hook for spinning tackle with a narrow shaft diameter. This is because it increases the casting distance and the center of gravity becomes lower, making the swimming more stable.
