Highlander tents, sleeping bags and camp setup

The current Highlander collection contains 49 available products or listings. Juniper two-person and three-person dome tents, Harris sports shelter, Sleepline adult and children's sleeping bags, camping mats, blankets and a compact pillow cover basic overnight and bankside comfort.

Start with camping and cooking equipment, then compare tents by occupancy, packed size, weather rating and pitching space. Stated berth is not the same as comfortable capacity once fishing luggage and wet clothing are inside.

Choose from sleeping bags by temperature guidance, size and insulation. Use an appropriate mat beneath the bag, keep it dry and do not rely on a lightweight bag outside its stated conditions.

Cooking, hydration and carrying equipment

Highlander HPX100, HPX200, Triplex and portable gas stoves are available with cooksets and utensils. Use stoves outdoors in a stable, ventilated area, follow the exact fuel and connector instructions and keep flames away from tents, dry grass and tackle.

Rambler, Summit and Melrose packs can be compared through rucksacks by capacity, back fit and load distribution. Protect electronics and spare clothing with a suitable dry sack, and avoid placing knives or stove parts where they can puncture fabric.

For drinks and food, compare insulated and metal bottles in vacuum bottles and mugs. Check whether the vessel is intended for hot liquids, clean seals thoroughly and never store fuel or chemicals in a drinking container.

Lighting, optics and outdoor tools

Capella and Mizar headlamps sit within outdoor lighting. Carry spare power, check runtime at the selected brightness and avoid shining high output directly at other anglers, drivers or boats.

Tarn binoculars and Northumberland or Cotswold compact optics can be compared in optics. Protect lenses from sand and salt spray and use the supplied case when travelling.

Folding saws, shovels, knives, a fire starter, compass and first-aid pack belong with tools. Follow local rules on blades and fires, use protective technique and carry tools securely. For comfort, compare the Edinburgh chair with other seating, checking ground stability and weight limits before use. Make a simple equipment checklist before longer or remote trips.
