Select soft lures and Pro Atom spoons

The available Select range is concentrated around compact predator lures. Soft-lure families include Fetish 2-inch, Uran 2-inch, Razor 2.5-inch and Crow-X 2-inch patterns in several colours. Their small profiles suit different jig-head, drop-shot and light lure presentations, but hook size and total rig weight must be checked for each body.

Browse the wider soft lure collection to compare tail action, body shape and rigging. A crayfish-style Crow-X should not be worked or rigged exactly like a slim baitfish profile. Keep different soft-plastic materials in their original packaging where advised, as mixed compounds can react or transfer colour.

Select Pro Atom spoons are available in 15g versions with Bream, Perch, Rainbow Trout, Roach, Pike and Brown Trout finishes. Compare them with other spoons over 10g by profile, hook, casting distance and sink rate. The printed prey pattern does not determine the only species that can take the lure.

Select spinning rods, leaders and storage

Current rods include Glam, Force and Force Long Distance variants. Use the spinning rods category to compare length, casting range and action, and select the exact model for the lure plus jig head, leader and clip. Longer does not automatically mean better if the venue has restricted casting space.

Available fluorocarbon and stainless-steel troll leaders provide different visibility, stiffness and bite protection. Compare them in leaders and traces, matching diameter, length and breaking strain to the target fish and lure. Inspect crimps, knots, sleeves and snap connections before each session.

A Select semi-hard rod case appears in the rod holdalls range. Check internal and external length, capacity and whether reels can remain attached. Use rod bands or sleeves where needed so sections and guides cannot strike each other inside the case.

Build a balanced Select lure outfit

Pair small soft lures with line and rod power that preserve bite detection, while a 15g spoon or long-distance rod may need a different reel and leader. Carry a limited spread of natural and contrasting colours, then adjust weight and retrieve to depth, wind and current instead of changing colour after every cast.

For a practical overview of two value-focused ranges, read the comparison of Select and Golden Catch spinning lures. Always return to the current collection and product specification before buying, because colours, variants and availability change.
