This newer Matrix Aquos Ultra-D range is designed for heavier feeders and longer-range work on rivers and large lakes. Oversized guides, a hook keeper and a cork-and-EVA handle complete the rods.

How to choose

The 3.70m / 80g is the shorter, lower-rated model. Choose 4.00m / 130g or 4.20m / 150g when both extra reach and the higher feeder rating suit your fishing.

A great rod for the money.I have only been out fishing with it once to try it out and it casts 10g lures very well.Blanked that day so am looking forward to seeing what it is like with a decent trout on the end of it.
