The Matrix Ethos XR-D is built for distance feeder work with a reinforced blank and oversized XBG SG guides. Rubber cork and EVA form the handle, and each model comes with 1.5oz and 2.5oz carbon tips.

How to choose

At 4m, choose 100g or 130g according to the required feeder load. The 3.70m / 80g is the shorter two-piece model; 4.20m / 150g has the greatest reach and rating.

A great rod for the money.I have only been out fishing with it once to try it out and it casts 10g lures very well.Blanked that day so am looking forward to seeing what it is like with a decent trout on the end of it.
