The Preston Supera X uses X Wrap carbon construction to keep the blank diameter slim. Minima guides and a flattened EVA-and-cork handle complete a feeder rod range with distinct short-range and distance options.

How to choose

9ft: short, confined swims and close commercial-fishery casts, with a soft progressive action.
10ft: progressive action for commercial carp fishing and playing fish close to the rod tip.
12ft: the more powerful distance model for larger feeders, with a three-piece main blank.

Technical specifications

Blank: X Wrap carbon.
Guides: Minima.
Handle: flat EVA and cork.
9ft and 10ft: 0.75oz, 1oz and 1.5oz carbon tips.
12ft: three main sections; 1.5oz, 2oz and 2.5oz carbon tips.

What's included

One Preston Supera X feeder rod with three carbon tips matched to the chosen length.

A great rod for the money

A great rod for the money.I have only been out fishing with it once to try it out and it casts 10g lures very well.Blanked that day so am looking forward to seeing what it is like with a decent trout on the end of it.
