Constructed from premium Japanese Ultra High Molecular Polyethylene (UHMPE) fibres, W10 uses an advanced 13X (12+1) CORE construction. Twelve tightly woven carriers surround a central CORE carrier, producing a perfectly round profile that is noticeably stronger and smoother than traditional 8X braids.
The innovative Advanced Ultra High PIC construction features an impressive 56 weaves per inch, resulting in a super-smooth surface with outstanding abrasion resistance. This tighter weave significantly reduces friction, delivering longer, quieter and more accurate casts.
Casting performance is further enhanced by a Double Dura-Coating gel process, which creates a smooth, hydrophobic surface that repels water, lowers friction and maintains consistent performance in all conditions. For maximum colour stability, the braid is dye-soaked, oven-cured to bake in the pigment, and sealed with a final Dura-Coat layer for long-lasting colour retention.
