The Savage Gear Super Cast Egi is a high-performance squid jig designed to deliver exceptional casting distance and lifelike swimming action. Thanks to the innovative Spring Cast system and an internal tungsten weight transfer, this lure achieves impressive long-distance casts that many traditional egi lures simply cannot match.

Unlike conventional squid jigs that use external lead weights, the Super Cast Egi incorporates an internal tungsten weight that shifts during the cast, dramatically improving distance and accuracy. Once in the water, the lure produces a hypnotic swimming action with sharp and responsive movements when jerked, making it highly effective for attracting squid.

The lure is available in two sink-rate versions to suit different fishing conditions. The Normal Shallow (NS) version is ideal for fishing depths between 1–10 metres, while the Normal Deep (ND) version performs best in depths from 3–15 metres.

Equipped with advanced UV technology, the colour patterns remain highly visible to squid in different light conditions and moon phases.
