The Shakespeare Firebird Carp Combo brings together a two-piece carp rod and a size 6000 reel already loaded with line. It suits new or occasional carp anglers who want to buy the rod and reel together.

Why choose it

The supplied line removes the initial job of filling the reel spool.
A cushioned DPS reel seat and abbreviated EVA handle provide a comfortable grip around the reel.
Double-leg guides use titanium oxide inserts.

A great rod for the money.I have only been out fishing with it once to try it out and it casts 10g lures very well.Blanked that day so am looking forward to seeing what it is like with a decent trout on the end of it.
