Greys fly rods, reels and complete outfits

The current Greys collection contains 53 available products or listings. Wing Streamflex, Wing Stillwater, Lance and GR20 rods cover different fly-fishing applications, while Tail, Fin, Cruise and Fin Euro Nymph combos provide matched starting outfits.

Compare individual fly rods by length, line rating, action and intended water. A Euro-nymph setup, stillwater rod and salmon rod are not interchangeable simply because their line numbers appear close. For ready-matched gear, check rod combos for every included component.

Tail, Fin, TITAL, Cruise and Cruise Cassette reels are available. Browse fly reels by line capacity, drag, spool format and hand retrieve. Cassette systems add flexibility, but spare spools and cassettes must fit the exact model.

Greys fly lines and leader setup

Platinum X lines include floating, intermediate, nymph-tip and several sinking densities such as T3, T5 and T7. Select from fly line according to rod rating, sink profile and fishing depth. A faster sinking line changes retrieve angle and snag risk as well as depth.

Greylon knotless tapered leaders and braided loops complete the connection. Check leader length, butt diameter, tippet strength and loop condition before use. Knots should seat cleanly without cutting the line coating, and any cracked or flattened line section should be replaced.

Carry spare lines and leaders dry and labelled. Do not leave wet fly line tightly stored for long periods; clean it only with products suitable for that line type and follow the manufacturer's coating guidance.

Wading, landing and fly-care equipment

Tail and Tital breathable stockingfoot waders, Fin bootfoot waders, cleated boots and a wading stick can be compared through waders and fishing footwear. Check size, boot compatibility and sole rules for the venue. Waders are not buoyancy equipment.

Folding salmon, trout and rubber free-flow nets sit within landing nets. Match frame, mesh and handle reach to the fish and bank. Prepare the net before fishing and rinse suitable components after use.

Waterproof fly boxes, forceps, scissors, clippers, retractors and magnetic net clips support organisation. Compare the wider fishing tools range, dry tools and boxes fully and secure sharp points so they cannot damage waders or line.
